Next semester I am taking linear circuits, linear algebra, antennas, probability theory and criminal justice (required general ed course). Is my schedule to heavy in engineering/math courses? How is linear algebra and probability theory?

Linear algebra and prob are not that bad at all, Criminal justice is fine if you are good with the subjective courses and BS’ing, I have no clue though about antennas and circuits, though I have heard that circuits isn’t horrible.

I’ve already had a basic circuits course. This one in particular covers the design of filters in continuous and discrete time, as well as examining the transfer functions and frequency responses of the filters.

Okay .

I majored in Astronomy, not Engineering, and took an Astronomy class that was mainly concerned with Radio Astronomy and the role of Antenna design in optimizing data collection. My recollection is that you will need a very firm grasp of Fourrier Analysis if you are to succeed in gaining an understanding of antenna theory.
