<p>One possible reason for the surge in popularity is the greater visibility that it’s received in recent years. More folks recognize the name, although there are quite a few (especially on the East Coast) who don’t know much about Pomona or the Claremonts. But I was surprised yesterday when I mailed a package to my D, and the postal clerk saw the Claremont address and asked if she went to one of the colleges there! :)</p>
<p>You can only keep good things a secret for so long…especially with sites like this, other internet college search resources, etc.</p>
