<p>So I was supposed to take the SAT today, November 17, but during class yesterday, the person who manages my registrations for the SAT at my school, told me that specifically MY test date was postponed & I now have to take the test on December 1st. She also said that she doesn’t know how this happened, and that it is no one’s fault. </p>
<p>Sure enough, when I checked my email, I got an email about this too & it also said that my parents were automatically charged/billed for it. </p>
<p>Has this ever happened to anyone, or am I the only one? How could this have happened?</p>
<p>Maybe they underestimated the amount of students that would be taking this retest, and they discovered at the last minute that they didn’t have enough testing material for the number of students taking the test.</p>
<p>Instead of making a big deal about it, they just chose students at random to take the test in December.</p>
<p>If the payment issue is a big deal, call CB and raise a stink. You did not agree to this, and they did not fulfill their part of the deal, so it is unethical for them to reschedule you and charge you for the December test. I would try to get them to let me talk my test for free if I were you. They have too much money anyways.</p>
<p>Ha, ha… as if CB cares whether they are ethical or not. Sorry, snide comment from a parent who is getting REALLY tired of giving my credit card number to them every time I turn around (test, subject tests, prep books, sending scores, profile payments, etc.).</p>
