Every single application and applicant has a special story to tell, so it is hard to predict what will happen with Wash U. I have heard from son’s guidance counselor that the school has been very very competitive in the last two years. So, a lot will be determined by their needs and whether or not you are good fit. Your rank and GPA sure are excellent. Good luck! Is Wash U your top choice? What draws you to it? My son met with their admissions director at his school and was VERY impressed. And you sure cannot find fault with their communications! WOW!

Yes, WashU is up there with my top schools, but what really draws me to WashU is the fact that St.Louis is a great city for college, the school is academically one of the best in the nation, it is very diverse, and I know a bunch of family friends who have been there and they have nothing but good things to say about it. I also spoke with the Wash U’s Florida admissions officer and I also was very impressed by the school. Wash U was not a school that a lot of people consider recognized, but it is now just breaking through the shell and getting credit for being one of the best schools in America.

hey man, i grew up about 5 minutes walking distance from wash U…st louis is an OKAY city for college, if that…its pretty boring actually, except for sporting events…most of the WashU kids from my high school just study study study, without enjoying life enough…abotu 15 went from my school…maybe it was because we were too close to WashU, but in my experience, the city nor the school is that fun…

Three of my daughter’s classmates went to and just graduated from Wash U and they had a GREAT time. They loved the place. And these are folks who enjoy life to the fullest. So, I think it may depend upon who you hang with and like to do.

im sure it is a lot more fun when youre abit older…in high school, st louis felt a bit small…

Thanks for all your input guys, I really appreciate it

Hmm BU is a match bro. WAshu lets see what happens will we ? ( btw average indian here too  1370’s SAT )
