The event organizer at DSs wedding decided they might need more wine/beer. So had Bevmo deliver. The delivery fee was $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. Granted the venue was not super close by, but still…
And LOL I posted about the new Seattle 1 hr delivery in another thread today. While it may prevent drinking and driving, its can pose a challenge for folks trying to stay clean and sober.

Having booze delivered by bike might be particularly good if you want it shaken, not stirred.
I don’t know if they still do, but New Orleans used to have drive-in liquor stores where you could get a “go cup” cocktail through the drive up window.
Amazon delivery doesn’t seem so bad compared to this unless the delivery people are getting free samples.
My in-laws give us a wine of the month subscription every year. Fed Ex delivers and we get an automated call the day before reminding to have someone over 21 home to sign for it.
