I bought a new luggage set, the ring doorbell, the iPhone charger posted earlier, and eyeliner for my DD
I recently bought a Samsung TV . People told me to wait until Amazon’s prime day to buy, but I couldn’t wait. I was happy to find out it was not on sale.
Thanks for the code on the gift card. I reloaded my gift card and used it on a book that was a lightning deal.
Tired myself out shopping online. LOL. I got a few things, mostly for the grandkids. Macy’s is having a good sale and I got adorable matching Christmas outfits for my granddaughters. Who knows if they will be together for real or if we have to photoshop a picture of the grands this year. : /
You guys inspired me. I just bought a robot vacuum (for my husband, who has for some reason always wanted one). I also got a great deal on a percussion massage gun for my son. I already had it in my cart and was waiting to pull the trigger for delivery on his birthday at the end of the month, but I checked last night and there was a $90 coupon for Prime Day, so he’s now getting it early.
Thanks @tkoparent for the idea of the massage gun. Now the issue is whether to give it to H or myself for xmas?!
Just ordered the massage gun for $63 total! I will let DH give it to me for Christmas.
This morning I ordered an extra charging cord for my iphone and Apple watch. A combo unit that will be nice to drop in my purse or for traveling.

Was only $9.99 when I paid for it! (I think you sometimes only get the Prime Day price on one individual item. )
Thanks @abasket for the idea. Agree great for travel ( whenever that happens lol)- just ordered 2 but at $12.99 but still a good price.
Someone upthread was asking about reusable makeup remover cloths- my daughter uses the makeup eraser cloths- a little pricey- I think $20 on Amazon but there may be a coupon. They work well.
Have to hit the lightning deals pretty fast to get the best price. Once in cart you have 15 minutes to order or it disappears. Better to decide what you might be looking for and filter for it for current and upcoming deals . If you’re early enough before the deal you can research what the normal price would be and maybe there are better options.
I ended up buying one of the light therapy lamps for about 20$. It was about 40$ and I was thinking to buy for some time now to help with winter blues. Today there was a 20$ coupon in my cart so I bought it.
I’d been looking at hand vacuums—too many choices—so just decided to decide on one of the deals.
Then I broke my over-the-glasses sunglasses so ordered a pair of those.
Not stuff I wouldn’t buy anyway…
I currently have almost $300 of stuff in my cart, but $80 of that is Echo Dots for Christmas gifts. Gave my mother one for her birthday this summer and she loves it although mainly uses it as a radio. She wanted a radio to take outside while she reads, and it is so small and portable.
She also got a robot vacuum and she uses it but follows it around the house, talking to it. We’re about 50/50 at getting her to use electronics.
My parents (86 and 77) use Alexa many times a day for setting timers, (eg for taking meds throughout the day) , weather checks, and cooking timers.
And my dad likes her jokes, too. ?
I really don’t need anything right now and it seems like a lot of the deals are on electronics and appliances and I’m not a big consumer of those.
I had my $10 credit to use from a Whole Foods order so I used it to buy a jigsaw puzzle that was on sale for $9.99 so free puzzle!
Keep spending though because I do own Amazon stock!
What massage gun didn’t people buy?
I missed the massage gun and also the Nest security camera.
I went overboard on other items. New harness and leash for puppy, a thermometer (which I keep forgetting to buy), beach hats, and I don’t know what else. My DIL has sent me suggestions for her BD, including face creams and masks. I never heard of these brands and had fun looking at their sites. I had them mailed to my son so he can hide them for a while. Unfortunately, they won’t be gift wrapped.
It was so much more satisfying than buying a dishwasher.
