$40 Amazon gift card purchase has a $10 bonus using code GC20Prime. Used it immediately on AirPods Pro Prime Day deal for $199. Had a $10 credit from having shopped at Whole Foods last week, so feel like I should probably quit while ahead!
D2 said she would like a Kindle Paperwhite for Christmas. I am wondering if I should get one now for prime day or wait until black Friday or cyber Monday? The price for Prime Day is $79.99 which seems like a good deal to me.
The Ring Doorbell is $60 off but I got another $40 off by putting it in my cart with Alexa and another $10 off for shopping with Whole Foods.
BTW - Last year we bought Dots with clocks to use as alarm clocks. We love them but I don’t see them this year.
I don’t know whether it is a “special deal”, but I ordered a 3 pack of IKEA Frakta bags for $18. I’ve read on this site that they are great for college moving. I bought some non-IKEA brand on Amazon for S19 and they have worked well.
Thanks for that code @yauponredux! I also had $10 from the Small Business deal last week. Sorted deals by “discount - high to low.” Bought a pair of solar lanterns that were 45% off. After adding the an additional Lightning Deal discount and promo discounts, they came down from $50.99 to $2.59!
Amazon is coming out with a ton of cool new devices under their Dot and Show lines, plus Ring, so it looks like they’re deep discounting their old stuff.
I saved my $10 Whole Foods credit for Prime Days, along with $8 of gift card credits from answering surveys. I used them right after midnight on my new shower caddy - not a Prime Day deal, but just what I wanted. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075X35Y13/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_lMEHFbKVD5W7X
H bought a convection oven/deep fryer/rice steamer thing that you can bake with for $119. He was doting on it, showing it to me, counting the days till it arrives. I know I will never use it.
It is overwhelming to sort out. I haven’t looked much today but if I do look I like to check out the lightning deals: https://www.amazon.com/primeday/2
And then sometimes sort by “highest to lowest” % off.
