Amazon Prime Day, July 11

For $90, I couldn’t resist the 8qt InstantPot either. I also bought some space saver travel bags that don’t need a vacuum and a new coffeemaker for my parents. Split it into 2 orders and dded the gift card deal on the first, then used it on the second!

Bought 2 Anova sous vide cookers for gifts.

Made to the source of fast internet… so far, it is a big miss. None of the stuff I need is on sale.

Little while ago, got the 23 and Me basic (I guess) for 49.99.

Clarisonic brushes, 2 for $25 after the prime day discount.
Better deal than the 20% off coupon from Ulta

In addition to the $5 credit for buying a gift card I got a $10 credit by reloading my gift card with $100. Both deals are from the link in MaineLonghorn’s post #26. Thanks, ML!

Tried to buy an instant read thermometer-- went on sale at 8:35, added it to my cart at 8:35 (0% sold), and I am on the waitlist for it! What the heck?

The 50% off deal for 23andme Ancestry plus Health is back now for Amazon Prime. It’s $99.50 once you proceed to checkout.

@greenwitch

This is random but has anyone seen a good deal on a bathroom scale, air fresheners (sprays, plugins, whatever), or cleaners? Those are what I usually get with these things but I’m having a really hard time navigating for some reason.

@romanigypsyeyes - What about this one? https://www.amazon.com/kindle-dbs/ku/retail-promotions-page/?mode=KU2017PrimeDay
On the Amazon site, go to the search box and select “Prime Day” from the drop down categories and then put “scale” in the box. Several come up.

@my-3-sons well now I feel dumb for not knowing that search option was there. Doh!

Thank you!!!

Bought $500 worth of crap on Amazon today… Not a single Prime special. :slight_smile: Hope Mr. likes his new Grohe shower head and other stuff.

Pulled the trigger for DH on the Oculus Rift VR bundle. It’s your fault, @BunsenBurner!

I cannot believe I am buying bat house on a pole… Yup.

OK, @BunsenBurner , now you made me feel better! A Bat house on a pole?!?!?!? #-o

So he does not have to waste his time building another one!!! :slight_smile: We already have one bat house, but two is better, right? :wink:

My order for today:

Carpet cleaner
Grohe shower kit
Grill brushes
Rug
Bat house/pole
Vacuum cleaner bags
Cat food

LOL!!! Not a single prime item. :frowning:

What am I missing here? Why do you want to attract bats to your property?

Mosquitoes!!
Bats eat them

Or re home them from the house. Bats are protected species and have to be re homed and not exterminated.

Yes, to keep bats out of your attic! Far as I know, they’re usually happy in a bat condo.

Yes, they can be amazing at reducing mosquitos. We can sometimes see them flying around my neighbor’s trees, in the evening . But a few times, til she had her chimney capped, DH had to help her get one out of the house.
