@BunsenBurner - I did buy some greenies for our cats which where on special!
Yes, you got it right! The critters are amazing at keepng bugs in check. We are surrounded by a swamp, but so far have seen only one (!) mosquito. The bats take care of them really well. They are not in the attic, but they decided to check out our deck as a possible roosting place. Nope. So Mr. built a house for them, and now he wants to put a second one up - I don’t want him to climb a ladder over a very steep slope and waste more time on construction of bat premises. Hence the Amazon bat house on a post solution. The oddest thing I have bought from that place since the cement mixer.
The navigating on the website was a bit cumbersome at times. For some products I swear if I didn’t land on a page through a certain link the price was not the same. I clicked on a “small black Fitbit Blaze” numerous times before I went in another way and finally got the correct link for the prime deal.
D1 ALMOST pulled the trigger on a mattress but decided to hold off. She wasn’t really looking for one right now and the logistics (what if it didn’t work?) were too iffy.
D2 my Teva lover got an adorable pair of sandals for about $25.
Till next year!
Rest up now that Prime Day is over. Tomorrow is the start of the Anniversary Sale for Nordstrom cardholders (unless you have a special card and get to start shopping today). It’s hard work keeping the economy moving for the CC crowd
I ordered a bunch of blazers for my dh with free returns. He never wears a coat and tie to work. His only suit dates back to 1983 and is more than a little snug. He likes to wear a German “Trachten” outfit (not Lederhosen, but still!) that doesn’t require a tie, but it’s just not appropriate everywhere. We are going to one of the NYC clubs tonight that requires a tie, and he’s got nothing to wear. The Amazon stuff won’t arrive in time, but hopefully we’ll find something he can wear in the future. He probably still needs a suit, but really our life doesn’t seem to ever require one.
Got some of my stuff today- the TENS device and pants. I think I’m still missing something.
TENS device feels like what I had in PT. Not sure if it’ll work or not but trying it now
Opted for a hd8 fire tablet. With all the accumulated giftcards and the $10 off from the amazon cash promotion…total came out to less than $6.
Only Nordstrom level 4 cardholders could shop today.
Final PrimeDay purchase last night was a GoPro package that will be going under the tree for one of the kids this Xmas. Forgot about the Nordstrom sale. Thanks for the reminder!
…and cardboard boxes for the cats. They are rotating box to box. LOL.
The big prime day order for us will ship in 2 parts, and both are on back order.
And for one, the estimated delivery date is prior to the estimated ship date. Say whaaa???
Got part of my order today and I’m returning the Baggallini purse. It’s too large for what I want it for…
But I was returning something to TJ Maxx today and saw they have a bunch of Baggallini’s there. That was before my package came so I might be going back to look for a better style.
Got my 23 and Me… and now I’m afraid to do it…?
^I just got my 23andme kit in the mail today. I’m going to read the instructions this weekend and put it in the mail on Monday. C’mon @prospect1 you can do this!
I just bought a baggalini at TJMaxx and hope its big enough! Which did you order, @greenwitch and what did it cost on prime day?
I bought a doorbell. It’s a Ring video doorbell. Now the challenge will be if hubby can figure it out. Our cheapie one literally melted off the wall and I can’t hear people knocking. Not to mention I want to see who is at the door as well.
@eyemamom would love to hear a review after you get it installed
@jym626 - I ordered this one: It was about $28 including tax.
@eyemamom - I also got the Ring Video doorbell but I got it yesterday at Costco. We will have to mount it right on our door and I’m not sure how that will work.
@greenwitch , I have a very similar Baggallini to that one. It also has the three zippers across the front of the bag. They’re great for flat things like paper, but everything you put in any of the 3 zipper compartments goes all the way down to the bottom of the bag. It can get pretty thick down there if you have a lot of stuff (keys, phone, etc.) in those zippers. I love the bag otherwise, though!
