Amazon Textbook Purchase

I have not had any issues with purchasing textbooks from Amazon in the past few years, whether it is new, used or fulfilled by Amazon.

Just received 3 new textbooks today (Amazon Prime), and one (3rd party but fulfilled by Amazon) came with the 3rd page folded different ways with creases, and the next few pages are a little curvy. Such minor issue I say to myself, not justified to request for replacement. But it does bother me a little.

Obviously it is not damaged, and it sure won’t affect studying! :slight_smile:

Would you ask for a replacement?

I would not bother getting a replacement unless you feel it will impact the book’s resale value – but I’d mention it in the review/rating of the third party seller.

@happy1, my thinking is similar. Resale value is what I am a little concerned, but then if I were to buy an used book, one folded page is not a big deal, book is otherwise in good condition, I would still buy it for a good price.
