"Ambitious" schedule

I emailed my admissions counselor at an elite university, asking about my schedule senior year. He said that my schedule seems like a “pretty ambitious schedule”. Is this is a compliment?

Bump it up

Depends. what school?

I don’t want to put words into admissions mouth, but this is how I would interpret it.

Most likely you picked classes that are fairly time consuming and difficult to do well in, so it could be a compliment if you can handle that kind of schedule or it could be a subtle hint to revise your upcoming semester. In either case, I would look over your schedule again and make sure you can handle it and do well.

Honestly, I would take it lightly. What I mean is, if you are performing well in your classes and you’re being slightly challenged then don’t change a thing, but if you’re doing well and you’re not challenged at all, take harder courses.

Alright thanks guys!
