<p>I just received a phone call at work from a telemarketer type. Apparently there is a big time scam going on with this company. They claimed we had a business listing/internet account with them since last year and they were calling to renew. When I declined I was told that accounts were billed for previous services and since I so rudely declined my account would go to collections. I asked the name of the company and for the phone number so I could call back myself. He didn’t have a phone number and I hung up.
Googled American Business Networking and got some poor woman with a legit company in Florida. Her company doesn’t do telemarketing and she gets hundreds of calls like mine daily. She gave me the phone number for Ameribizz which does the telemarketing. I called them and they claimed they don’t use telemarketers.<br>
Time to buy a very loud airhorn and keep it next to my phone. In the meantime, those of you in business don’t get caught by this crap.</p>
