American Eagle polos

Um, that’s not being a snob, that’s having preferences. Some people only like the Yankees. Some people only like station wagons. And some people only like preppy girls.

Not to mention the comfort level. Punks and goths really creep me out. Every time I see one I get frightened and also wonder what they would look like if they were normal. And I’m not alone on this–one of my good friends also gets scared by the Hot Topic crowd. Like me, she’s got 95% of her wardrobe from Abercrombie/AE/RL.

how do you people where these pos clothes. Its funny.

i just think it would be nice not to be judged by the clothes i wear. if someone wears “goth” or “punk” clothes, maybe its because they think they look good in it, the same way you think you look good in your preppy clothes. its all a matter of preference, i understand, but you cant judge a person based on the clothes they wear.

i have no problem judging people who wear exclusively designer clothes because its the only way they define themselves though…

MAcTech you shouldnt judge people on how they look? And I dont think it should be up to you to define “normal.” Normal is boring. A lot of those people are really nice people i bet. i just think you’re really rude and judgmental.

You are misinterpreting my posts, especially the newer one.

There is a certain comfort factor here. And I just don’t feel comfortable around punks. I am not a rude person, and I’m getting really sick of this message board because a lot of people think I’m inconsiderate on here when I’m just voicing my opinion like every other American here.

I’m not aiming this specifically at anyone, don’t get me wrong, but nobody on here seems to take my posts in the right way anymore. I joined here in October because I was having trouble with my college. And I enjoyed coming to this board then. But now it seems like I’ve become an outcast just because I have the same freedoms of speech and choice that everyone else in America has and people just want to argue with me all the time

I don’t know if I’ll return to this board soon or not, but I’m tempted to just withdraw from it completely. There are other boards out there where people are much more tolerant of other people. Here it seems the only tolerance people have is race. There are so many “we have to treat all races equally” propaganda posts on here, yet there is nothing that says “we should be respectful of people no matter what they think”.

So goodbye, and I might return eventually, but don’t count on it.

For those who dress “preppy”, do you know what “prep” actually means?

MacTech i’m sorry but when you say offensive things, I’m not gonna be like, “oh hey…that’s nice.” Sorry. Buh bye.

what did mac say that was offensive? He prefers girls who dress preppy over ones who dress like goths? When it comes to what people want, especially when it comes to relationships, no criterion is unfair. If anything, you could just say his loss, but if he’s happy with excluding any girl who isnt a prep from his dating pool, then there’s nothing wrong with that.

It’s not like he’s saying they should have to use seperate bathrooms or be sent off to camps, he just doesnt want to go out with them.

No, that’s not the part that bothered me.

C’mon, don’t tell me that’s not snobby.
