@sryrstress - We don’t live in the city limits, but we do compost. I have a container lined with compostable bag on the kitchen counter (its lid has an activated carbon filter) and take food scraps to the yard waste bin in the yard daily - making sure the lid on the bin is always tightly closed to prevent trash pandas from digging in. Compost does not bug me much.
