So what do you guys think, is it looking like a good season? We used to watch religiously, but Katy was very annoying, so we gave it up.

You might be surprised to find that Katy has toned down by at least 80% since she became a mother.

So far I’m liking the season - personal favorites are Ajii (family from Pakistan), Odell (man with 5 kids) and Mackenzie (young woman who just met her birth family). I think all 3 are exceptional talents and wish them the best!

The birth family segment was a real tear jerker. I also liked the guy with 5 kids, but wowzer- he is only 29! That’s …… um…… busy.

Top 24 are all very promising artists. Makes me happy that my top 3 are still in.

I’ve got a couple new ones that I really like a lot, but I don’t know their names. One is the young woman who really is a showman, she engages the crowd and is really into performing.
