American Music Awards

Is anyone watching? Is Toni Braxton lip-syncing “Unbreak my heart”? It looks like it, and they aren’t doing any closeups to see easily, and the mike is in the way. Her neck/throat didn’t seem to be moving much.

I do enjoy the outfits and the comfort with weight; in addition to Lizzo, several dancers are not stick thin.

I turned it on for a minute on my way to the Packers game…I like current music but I have to say, the AMA’s IMO have gone V in the last several years - feels like a lower grade of Grammy’s. I also have noticed that the outfit of the night seems to be the evening gown with a high leg slit!!!

(and Paula Abdul looked awfully unsteady on her feet!)

Agree,SURE LOOKS like she is lip-syncing…One easy way is that the sounds that come out of her mouth are EXACTLY like the recorded version on her record…Which almost NEVER happens…especially after A DECADE of doing the recording…ANOTHER way is that if you pull up her performances of singing live on youtube for 2018 and 2019, you will see that she has lost the power in her voice to were she cannot belt out anything… You see she sings softly and masks it by pretending to be in emotional pain and crying…I would say her voice strength is about 30% of what it was several years ago…shame.Without power in her voice , why is she charging FULL POP in her ticket prices?..Not fair to the fans…she still Looks GOOD but If you cant sing, stay home…

Taylor Swift!! She deserved this “Album…” award. ?

West Coast here. Toni Braxton is definitely lip-syncing. So obvious, ?

Cara is in great shape. She looks like she can kick her husband’s butt on the football field! ?

Shaina Twain also looked like she was lip syching. Her mouth was continuously covered but that red mic, so you couldn ‘t see it.

I wasn’t s happy with the clothes, e.g. Shaina’s big gown.
.

Autocorrect strikes again. In the posts above, “Ciara” became “Cara,” and “Shania” turned into “Shaina.” Lol.

Yep, @BunsenBurner. Good ol’ autocorrect. Sigh… I wish it would ask first (I know we can turn it off, but…)
