<p>Has the American Opportunity Tax Credit been extended for this year - 2011? I need to adjust my withholdings if not.</p>

<p>Also, any word on the Making work pay credit for this year (2011) as well?</p>

<p>I am pretty sure the American Opportunity Tax Credit is good for this year (2011) and next year as well. The Making Work Pay tax credit was just for 2009 and 2010. But - you know anything can change!</p>
