I noticed a lot of the courses are cross listed with both departments, so I was wondering what the meaningful difference was between these two majors in terms of what you learn/what the major is focused on?
Suggest look more closely at the major requirements.
I am too lazy to do it for you, but it would not surprise me if each major had “bucket lists” of requirements in different sub-areas of their respective fields that are not all shared.
