I believe the Spring 2018 to be real. My Ds letter also offered to option to sign up for the fall mentorship program. So I think it is real
Hello! So im from Chicago and at this point haven’t received any emails or letters in the mail. I just went to the portal and made an account anyways and found out that i was accepted. It was really confusing because I found my financial aid letter pretty quickly, but i still haven’t found an official letter stating my acceptance and any other details. Looking at the portal’s home page I have no alerts or notifications. I’m assuming that I’ll be getting a letter tomorrow but if anyone can clear up how american releases info to students it would be much appreciated!
i made my account but searching up emails au has sent me in the past, and I used the AUID they gave me.
I was able to create a portal and view a letter of financial aid… does that mean I was accepted??
@lawbist log in and go to life@au, click on new student, look at the right hand side and click on enrollment agreement and you will see it there
We are from MA. Up until an hour ago, my D could not log in at all. Now she can.
Accepted to Spring 2018. She never showed interest, didn’t visit, or compete the extra Why AU essay…from the email.
Not sure if she will go, but the mentorship program looks great

Too bad he can’t go due to my stupid mistake of forgetting to add them to the FAFSA
Anyone know definitively if the portal means anything? I was told kids last year were shown a “congrats” message and were able to log into the portal, but got wait listed.
Any thoughts?
I’m in New Jersey and just received my acceptance in the mail today!! I’ve seen some people ask if Spring 2018 is a mistake; mine says Fall 2017 so I’m not too sure if it is a mistake or not. Did anyone receive anything about Honors Program or any 3-year program with their acceptance?

I just received my acceptance package in Texas- I didn’t receive any merit scholarship which I was somewhat surprised about but I’m still happy to be accepted haha. My ACT was a 33 and my school doesn’t calculate GPA/has an alternate grading system (I’m not sure what my GPA would be).
I got an email saying i got in. Never got a packet yet

Received an email saying “congratulations” also there will be an admitted student reception in your local area.
I tried to log on again to my son’s account and this time I got through to be able to make an account. I don’t know if I should even tell my son or have him wait for a physical letter. I do not want to get his hopes up if the portal thing isn’t 100 percent accurate.

Also just received emails for two different receptions in our area for admitted students.
