Got my acceptance package in the mail! Didn’t receive a lot of aid though. I live in VA

I received the email about an hour ago. From San Diego, CA @sliz191

@RobertBoxer Which part of NorCal are you from?

@Pattijh2 I think if you go to “academics” and then “enrollment agreement” you should be able to see a letter. If it is there, I think it is safe to say he is in.

My D has a letter there…to her name…with her acceptance. I’ve got to believe that is real.

I got my packet today in California and I was accepted for Musical Theatre!!

@college_bound42 which part of NorCal are you from?

@college_bound42 I mean cal**

Just was able to log into the portal! Does anyone know if it says Spring 2018 for the term if it is 100% accurate? Also does anyone know anything about the fall mentorship program?

how do you see if you got in through the au portal?

@whoknowss if you make your account, go to the academics tab and click enrollment and housing agreement

@college_bound42 where from CA?

Can someone please explicitly explain where to find the acceptance letter and financial aid? This is really confusing.

When I click on housing it says congratulations but where is the actual letter within the portal? and where do i find financial stuff?

@noxjones I’m in Southern California, Orange County

@lauren05 you go under Finances > View Financial Letter I believe in right side of page.

My son received his acceptance in the mail today in NJ. School of Public Affairs Political Science major. Disappointed he was not chosen for Honors, but was invited to the Community Based research scholars and got a $20000/ year presidential scholarship. Old SAT 2350 (new 1580), weighted GPA 4.2, good ECs and community service.

I am also really confused why I didn’t get a letter today even though I got in :confused: I live in MD 30 mins away from AU so this is pretty weird

finally accessed the portal today and had an acceptance! but still no letter in VA. financial aid was dismal though, and i’m a little disappointed because I have a sibling at AU that got a hefty scholarship, and i’ve always been considerably higher up in academics. but still happy to have a place at AU in the international service school!

1460 SAT, 33 ACT, 3.89 UW and 4.5 W
other schools: accepted at Colorado College (w/ 25k/yr scholarship), Fordham ($30k/yr in scholarships), Boston College (deferred, then in), UVA, William & Mary (offered place in Monroe Scholars program)
deferred at Georgetown, and still waiting on Columbia and Princeton

@lauren05 don’t worry because the Admissions office has sent the packages in different days of the week

I can’t log in or received anything… is that really bad?
