Just got into America!!! From Mass! Got an email, can’t get into my portal
I still haven’t gotten an email, do you guys think this means I got rejected?
No mail from Orange County - expecting a rejection 
No e-mail, no portal access, and no mail… 3.98 UW GPA, 1550 SAT, stellar ECs, numerous awards. Bizarre.
How do they decided to email or mail out acceptance letters? Anyone know?
@ramz00 Emails for foreign students, and mails for domestic applicants, unfortunately…
@ramz00 I have no idea but i read somewhere that everyone eventually gets something in the mail
I’m an international students studying in US… will I get and email or snail mail?

@almostdone99 I’m one, too. You will have to wait for the snail mail. I believe they only send emails if you live outside the US

Ramz, did your friend put his/her mailing address or a foreign one? When I talked to the director of International admission Director, I got informed that if you apply from a US school, you will be treated and viewed as a domestic applicant (except for the financial part); hence my assumption 
@almostdone99 I’m living in WA, so nothing in the mail yet, as if of right now. But I was able to create and log in to myAU, saw the congrats page, but nothing under the Financial Aids–no scholarship or anything.
Though, as many of us–including me–has quoted from last year’s thread, the portal is not very reliable, if at all. Therefore, please don’t rely on it for anything.
The admissions twitter from seven hours ago said that the letters are out and on their way. I’m assuming that it’s the last bunch to go out. If you haven’t heard yet, hang in there. Could be a few more days. If you’re really stressed, perhaps you could call your admissions rep tomorrow since the weekend is coming up and just ask that person directly. Congrats to all of you that were admitted. Hang in there to those of you who are still waiting. If you’re a spring admit, check out the Washington program they have for the fall. The first semester will go by quickly and it may not be a bad idea to take it easy for a few months. If you didn’t get in, that’s alright also. Lots of great schools out there that will be a good fit for you. You can always try for a transfer next year. Good luck folks!

If the portal says you’re accepted, is there still a chance you can be rejected?
No email, no snail mail. Rejection must be coming tomorrow or Sat mail. Stat wise this was suppose to be a safety for S, oh well. Congrats to all who got in!
