Hi yall, for those who like me are waiting for admissions results in the RD round, they will be released in the afternoon on March 14th. Emailed my regional counselor and they said this.
March is getting closer by the day…

Excited to know that acceptances are coming out in just a few days! Does anyone know if you receive your financial package (scholarships, institutional aid) at the same time as you get your acceptance?
Usually a full financial aid package comes out after they have your FAFSA information. With that portion delayed it may not be until later. However, with the CSS they would be able to tell you better than schools who do not use that for financial aid consideration.

Merit is included in the acceptance letter. Need-based will come whenever they have your full FAFSA and CSS info, since FAFSA was messed up this year.

Thanks! Do you think they’ll be able to estimate need based aid based on the CSS we submitted and include that on 3/14?
does anyone know what time of day decisions are usually released. I know it says “afternoon” but what time has that been in past years?

it will be released at 4pm per their countdown on their instagram page.

Thanks have others been getting a lot of emails from American U in recent weeks about upcoming events and such?
Actually my daughter didn’t mention getting many emails from American. If she’s not admitted I’d really be shocked but I don’t know how much they look at shown interest.
They look a lot at demonstrated interest
If they somehow don’t admit my daughter than that’s an L on their part, not hers.
If I remember correctly, in prior years, admitted students could see a quick “Request Deferral” pop up when clicking “View” on the application the day prior to and day of decisions. Right before the checklist pops up under the print!
