<p>Has anyone else had to make a decision between these two schools? They both seem to be very similar academically. I’m interested in Biology and will probably end up pursuing the premed track. Is one superior to the other with regard to medical school placement?</p>
<p>I know that med school placement at Davidson is very strong, and Amherst . . . well, good heavens - it’s Amherst. As an unabashed Davidson booster on CC, I often refer to it as the southern Williams. If you are, in fact, in a position to make this decision - congratulations! You’ll wind up in one of the greatest undergraduate environments in America, either way.</p>
