Amount of studying I should do for World History Subject test?

I’m not exactly sure what to do, seeing as I only have a week left until the test. I did take the APWH test, and felt ok about it afterwards. I haven’t touched a review book since then, and have been getting progressively more anxious about doing badly on the SAT.

However, today I went to the bookstore and practiced in the Collegeboard official study guide and scored an 800. I feel a bit relieved, but should I trust this practice test? I don’t want to go in there feeling confident and not having studied enough, and then get a worse score then I expected. However, I do feel buoyed up by doing well on the practice test, and I’m suffering from major end of the year-itis, so I can hardly summon the will to study.

So my question is how do I figure out how much to study? Should I trust in the 800 practice test and only casually glance over notes? Study hours and hours and go through Princeton Review multiple times just to be on the safe side? I don’t want to get a bighead and not study enough, but at the same time, I want to relax and not stress about it too much. What should I do?

um if you scored an 800 you’ll do well
i’ve never taken a world history course so i’m screwed

I’m hoping I will get a 750+ on the real test, but I don’t even want to study at all (laziness)…I dunno, one part of me wants to watch tv instead of studying, while the other is screaming at me, if you don’t study now you won’t get the score you want!
Hmmm, I guess I will just read over PR as much as I can, but not cram excessively for hours like I did for the AP test.
GL for the test :)

has anyone had an experience where they took a practice test, did well, but then dropped signifigantly for the real test?
