Some of you guys come from schools with really restrictive dress codes. Luckily, in my school you’re allowed to wear anything you want.
Whether it’s so tight that the short/pant goes into your butt crack and you can see the separation between both butt cheeks or tiny as one day the lower part of a girl’s butt was showing
And when it’s halloween, all the girls dress as slutty maids, nurses, whatever you can think of :P.
There is no sexual violence ofc, that’s why i think no one has ever done anything regarding it.

Here is the dress code from my daughter’s high school:

It seems like most kids follow it pretty well.

@rokr32: I appreciate the insight, but let’s try to keep the thread on track. Thanks.

Admin has conceded that it’s getting harder to find truly decent shorts for females anymore. Just to give everyone a bit of perspective, at my school, uniforms are completely out, and a knee-length or longer requirement would be an extremely hard sell. Basically, we need something that strikes a balance between knee-length and inappropriately short/tight-fitting.

@Got2BeGreen: Thanks for the parental input! I was considering cross-posting in the parents’ cafe, but CC’s not too crazy about that.

How about everybody wears pants? What, they don’t make pants for chicks? Blue jeans not cool anymore? Why does everything have to be so complicated in high school?

^skirts and dresses are way more comfortable than jeans and sometimes it’s way too hot for jeans

I wonder what school dress codes say about guys in dresses.

It’s kind of sad the way some schools determine inappropriateness of skirts and shorts, so I must applaud the OP’s SG. I think the style of the shorts should be put into more consideration than the length, because I have definitely seen objectional shorts longer and extremely appropriate shorts shorter.

If it is to be, it is up to me…

^^my school wouldn’t allow it because they don’t even let people dress up as another gender for Halloween

Jeans too uncomfortable? I’m going to go laugh myself into a hernia.
