I’ve seen this story several times about “Team Hoyt,” a father and son racing duo that defied all odds and did amazing things, including marathons and the ironman triathlon. The story was on the Today show again this morning. I’m a guy and guys don’t like to show emotion, but this story always gets to me. Here is the background story from CNN so you can see what I’m talking about:

This is one of the most beautiful and touching stories of undying love and devotion I’ve ever seen. I saw this story on CNN, and I was simply stunned by the depth of this father/son relationship and by what these two have been able to accomplish, despite the odds. ~b.

The first time I saw them was on Oprah. What an amazing father/son. As someone whose father was non-existant, it made me sigh outloud. I think every maternity waiting room should play a video about these two.

There was a really good special on “Real Sports With Bryant Gumbel” about this amazing pair. If you happen to see it on HBO, it is really worth watching.
