<p>Does it matter whether you fill out the common application or the online one from the website? If you apply directly through the website, do you show you have more “desire” (ambiguously defined)?</p>

<p>to be part of the common app system, the colleges are required to promise not to give preferance to their individual application, and i assume they’re true to their word.</p>
