Mr. Ellebud is a peach, and a good sport to put up with our strange subculture.
To tell you the truth, I was a little concerned that you would be disappointed by my lack of glamour, not to mention lack of a manicure, LOL. (Note to self: get a haircut before your mother sees you this weekend.)
When I showed up, which of us did you think I was?
I knew that I had two names…I didn’t hear an accent so I guessed. Oh…and why would I be disappointed? You were perfect for you. I, on the other hand was afraid that you would think that I was a snob. (I 'm not…I hope…maybe a bit) Mr. Ellebud thought that we were an interesting trio. In a good way.
I have my own sort of snobbery. 
Thank you auto speller. DIL’s boss does NOT make housecoats…he makes house CALLS.
I’ve met a number of CC members IRL some of whom have become IRL friends.
In addition, my DD met a couple of CC families when she was in college and offered them private college tours (for which they then took her to dinner!).
I missed a NYC get together…and instead met one other CC member closer to home here for lunch.
I think there are enough of us to organize a CT get together someplace.
@bevhllls and I thought he made housecoats covered in diamonds.

@mstee and I met up a couple of times when she moved to my city. Then I moved away.
I never met her in person, but a mom’s son from my sons hs class thread ended up not only going to the same university, but ended up living next door to each other in the dorm and becoming really good friends.
I still can’t get over the fact that @“Youdon’tsay” lives very close to my sister and her DH taught all three of my sister’s kids!! It really is a small world.
I’ve met many CCers in person over the years! It’s really fun.
@alwaysamom, any chance you will be in NYC over Labor Day weekend? Maybe you’ll be gone by then? I’m going to be there to see my D’s show. I’m going to be in South Jersey for a week in mid-September and so missing you there.
@soozievt, unfortunately, not. I’m there next week Thursday til Sunday then headed down to south Jersey for a few days to visit one of my oldest and dearest friends, who coincidentally attended the same high school as you did, I believe! I would love to be able to see S’s show, I’m sorry to miss it. One of these days our visits will coincide!

I’ve met several CCers from the Prep School forum over the years. Our son was good friends with another boy whose mom posted there regularly. Unfortunately (for him), I outted my son early in my CC career and many on campus knew who I was. Our son hated it when his friends would tell him what his mom was ranting about on CC. I promised not to do that for college.
In any case, every CC poster I’ve met has been fabulous and every meet-up was a blast. If anyone is ever in the Phoenix area, I’m always happy to get together.
I have not met any CCers in real life. I don’t travel a whole lot, and around here (at least in my part of town), I don’t think very many people are even aware that CC exists. If anyone is ever in Southwest Ohio, though, I’m happy to meet up with you!
I have met @porcupine98 IRL, lovely person. And I do hope to meet @MaineLonghorn sometime. I would really love to meet @wisteria100 and @mamaedefamilia .

My son and a CCer’s D went to the same small LAC. Based on what this parent posted, S was able to figure out who the D was. I saw the parent at graduation, but was too busy talking to other parents (we hapened to be sitting next to his ex-GF’s parents) to approach.
@gclsports: Are you in the Cinci area? S1 just finished his doctorate at Xavier so he was there for many years. No longer, though.
And I am wracked with guilt! I also would love to meet @doschicos . And so I don’t keep coming back and posting, a whole bunch of other people on CC who seem very nice:-)
