IRL: Mr. Ellebud and I spent last weekend in Maine and New Hampshire. We had dinner with Consolation and Maine Longhorn. It was a delightful evening.
Before that: my daughter and I went out of town and met BoysX3. Fabulous family.
We are all who we say we are. No pretense. Just fun.
Has anyone else done the IRL?
How fun! I’ve met only one person IRL about 10 years ago from another Board. We met a few times for lunch, but that was it.
I haven’t but would love to! If any of you are headed to Denver, let me know!!!
Yes, I’ve met several CCers, mostly those who participate in the theatre forums. Lots of fun and interesting chats! I’m heading to NY and NJ in a week or so and may be seeing a few on that trip. No one ever comes to Toronto so I have to travel to meet you folks! 
Someone should start a thread, “I’m going to be in ____ city on ____date - anyone free for dinner?”

We had a VA/DC/MD meetup in June.
Several CC’yers met in San Diego, I guess two years ago. I wanted to attend but had a bad flu!
Here’s another recent thread on the subject with lots of stories about meeting IRL. Perhaps the two can be merged?
I met one CC’er in Charleston (we were both on the Class of 2018 thread) and I have been in touch with another CC’er only through email and cell for 4+ years but we’ve never met IRL.

We had a SE FL lunch when Hannah was in town. Would love to do more.
Not IRL, but one of my daughters told me that her roommate’s mom identified me on CC from my posts, and we’ve never met.
I’ve met 5 CC members IRL. Great people.
Perhaps we can do another San Diego meet in the fall after the tourists leave :-h . I’ll keep it on the radar.

I think I was out of town the last time there was a get together in San Diego. I’d be up for one this fall!
@MaineLonghorn and I should become the official Portland, Maine-area welcoming committee. 
Before this, the closest I came was to meeting the son of a CC poster. He was a fraternity brother of my S, although a couple years older. When I told him I “knew” his mother, he seemed slightly bemused, LOL.
I for one would love to go jewelry shopping (well, window shopping for me) with @bevhills
Can everyone imagine an annual CC’er’s convention? Would have to pick a major city with desirable tourist attractions and a convenient time of year. I fear the latter would create the most problems, although budgets of college student parents is another huge factor… How a bout a reunion for old timers whose kids have gone out into the real world- but most have moved on and would not get the message.

My dil is working with a diamond designer and wholesaler. Oh the pain!!! He makes housecoats.
