Haven’t been to the Illinois place even though I lived in the state for decades. I’ve already been to Al’s in NC, where we recently moved. It would be hard to find a better hole-in-the-wall restaurant burger. But our trip was made even better because an elderly man who was dining alone joined our table because it was very crowded. We spent the night dissing Duke, from Christian Laettner to the color of their blue and everything in between. Highly entertaining evening. (don’t @ me Dukies!
