Why do this now, 4 mos after the party. Was it “under investigation” all this time, or are schools cracking down more now on what is found to be inappropriate or insensitive.
Why are they issuing press releases? My kid’s school has put houses on probation or kicked them off, but they don’t go releasing statements to the press about it.
I appreciate the need for education on alcohol. But social justice education?
Why is it ok for people to listen to rap music but not dress like rappers in gang-inspired sartorial expression?
This incident was well publicized in the Clemson community. Clemson has had many Greek problems this year which may be why they took their time with the investigation and made sure there were no missteps. Or perhaps they were busy investigating the other incidents.
They probably did the press release when they realized the story might go national.
