<p>Oh brother…they got rid of Rachel from card member services and NOW Jennifer calls everyday. Sheesh!</p>

<p>Yesterday I got a call from “Rachel”-- who was a male!</p>
<p>I used to get daily calls from Rachel too. So sad she was fired! Haven’t heard from Jennifer yet, but there was a new message on my answering machine today urging me to act now to take advantage of something or other from the stimulus.</p>
<p>Well now I am peeved; I haven’t heard from Jennifer 
Do you think Rachel told her not to call me because I yelled at Rachel? Oh well, that just means my phone will ring less each week :)</p>
<p>Give it time! I bet Jennifer is working her way through the robocall list!</p>

<p>travelnut, the “Do Not Call” list used to be effective. Now it doesn’t work any more. All our numbers are on the list. Today alone I received 4 junk calls on the land line and one on my cell phone. It’s extremely irritating.</p>
<p>My favorites are the failed calls. I just answered my phone…to NOTHING! Happens at least several times a week.</p>
<p>Remind Rachel that there is a $10,000 fine per call for calling a number on the DNC list.</p>
<p>Unfortunately Rachel is deaf, so she doesn’t really care what you say to her! That of course doesn’t stop me from saying some not so nice things to her ;)</p>
<p>When I get one of these calls, I simply repeat, “hello? hello? hello?” after the 3rd or 4th “hello?” "they hang up. Except once, someone (Rachel? Jennifer? Peggy?) kept shouting back to me. I almost died laughing.</p>
<p>But these are courtesy calls, don’t you know??</p>
<p>Mine all are recorded robocalls. No one to yell at!</p>
<p>Im sad that Rachel doesn’t call me anymore either. My new best friend is the guy that wants to clean my carpet - five rooms for $99! What a deal. But alas he does not leave a call back number. Oops.</p>
<p>thumper, just the reason I do yell at Rachel, she can’t hear me!! It make me feel a bit better; gets rid of some built up anger ;)</p>
