I was deferred last year, then accepted RD. I retook the SAT, did better, and got As for another semester. I didn’t do anything else, like contact admissions, but that would probably be helpful (it can’t hurt, at the very least). However, I don’t think you should incessantly call them just to keep in contact; send a letter expressing your interest, but show that you’re only doing so because you have things to say. Obviously everyone applying is interested, so mere interest can’t set you apart.

If you retook the SAT/ACT (probably too late to do so now? I’m not sure) and did better, send those. Send your grades for the fall semester. If you can write a good letter of interest, send that. But ultimately, you’re just going to have to ride out the wait. Good luck.

P.S. [Here’s last year’s RD thread](http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-notre-dame/1108845-official-notre-dame-class-2015-rd-decisions.html), some people who got in listed that they were deferred EA. It should give you an idea for your chances.
