<p>I think it is an elaboration. Rather than giving a puny table like the other schools, Andover clearly wants it explained in words. I don’t know about hand written or typed, I would stick to handwritten because the rest of the application is handwritten.</p>

<p>Sure. I wrote about the EC i did and how long I did it and how often i did it. Then, i listed my awards. As long they get your point, I guess, your fine, but you don’t want to sway too much like listing the whole thing, without sentences. They clearly wanted you to write about your EC’s instead of putting it in a table.</p>
