Andover Decisions

Ballerina, congratulations! My DS is in the situation you were last year - so far, not accepted anywhere. What lessons did you learn that you could pass on to her if she tries again next year?

@jahphotogal - Thanks so much  I would just tell your son to keep his head up, and do what he loves for HIM, not for schools. Last year, I was so focused on getting accepted that I let the things I truly love - dance and writing - slip away from me. This year, though, I focused on working hard and making myself happy, and the acceptance, I think, came because of that. My interviewer wrote a note in my acceptance package, saying that she was impressed with my passion for dance and writing. If your son does what he loves and works hard at it, everything will fall into place. Good luck!

Congrats to all who were accepted! …no package in the mail for me, though. :)

I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU BALLERINA! You have always been so kind and fate worked out perfectly for you. I’m in the west coast (Washington) so I’m agitated.

Has anyone on the west coast gotten their FedEx?

gah! i didnt still get it- houston area

My cousin did. He lives in Spokane.

I was wondering if anyone could answer some questions about the admissions decisions: Did they people who were accepted into Andover this year get their packages already? How come some people got theirs and others didn’t? Are they supposed to send out admissions decisions March 9 or 10?
Thanks!

Still waiting for the Fedex from Andover…

@ballerina22 I was wondering whether you can give me some tips on what you had done to get into Andover? Cause I would like to apply for grade 10 in 2014 fall, and I am kind of afraid that I will not get in just like you! Cause I am not sure whether I am actually good enough for the school to actually want to accept me! Maybe you can give me some tips? :D
