Andover Questions

I need to fill out my Student Housing Information Form and was just wondering if it is difficult to live in Abbot or the Quads and be far away from the main part of campus. I would like to stay in a single room in Isham, but my only concern is that it might be hard to walk all the way from my dorm to class everyday, particularly in the snow. If you attend Andover, what has your experience been?

Also, as Andover is over-enrolled, will it be very difficult to stay in a single room?

People manage, though getting from Abbot to center campus is definitely a slog, and particularly so during the winter. Isham, on the other hand, is less than five minutes away from the main classroom buildings, and from what I know about the quality of the rooms, that walk is worth it.

Andover is always “over-enrolled.” Has been for the past four years running, if not more. I wouldn’t imagine you’d have any lower a chance of getting a single than during any other year in the past. Hope this helps.

Okay, thanks!
