Anyone know of East coast schools with a good animation department and writing department?

I’m glad you have a potential school to consider with Emerson. If you do look into Purchase, research its New Media major.

I assume you mean traditional film animation – but on the chance you don’t RPI has a game and simulation science major where you can get a concentration in writing for the medium.

No, I’m sorry, I’m interested in 2D and 3D animation, and not so much for games! And then I’d like to double major in writing. Thank you, though!
