Preferably vegetarian…we may be spending the day in Ann Arbor with a relative of mine who is attending law school at UMich and isn’t able to go home to where our family is (1200 miles away). I am looking for a restaurant to eat at for Thanksgiving-half of us are vegetarian-in Ann Arbor.

I loved Seva Restaurant on E. Liberty when I lived in Ann Arbor. That is the most well-know veg. restaurant in Ann Arbor, I think. You can Google the restaurant for the phone number and call to see status for Thanksgiving. There are also many reviews on TripAdvisor.

Call the biggest hotels, they may be able to accommodate a vegetarian menu.

They are not actually open on Thanksgiving day (I couldn’t quite tell if you are looking for the actual day), but Zingerman’s Deli is a fabulous foodie experience in Ann Arbor. It is a busy place (so I usually try to go a little early or a little late from usual meal times). Another option is to query on the Chowhounds.com website, those folks may very well have good recommendations AND know whether they are open on Turkey Day!

(Just searched Chowhounds, and found this link. I do not think Webers would be a good vegetarian choice. No idea about the Lord Fox, but you can probably search for it online).

How about Mongolian Barbeque? Not sure if open on Turkey Day, but they do have veg options…

Unfortunately Zingerman’s Roadhouse isn’t open Turkey Day either but that’s another fantastic place to eat. Great macaroni and cheese!

I bet you every Chinese restaurant would be open, lots of veggies.

Yes, looking for on actual Thanksgiving day. Thanks for the suggestions. No one minds eating all side dishes-it may be that or Chinese.

I second the suggestion that your see about restaurants in larger hotels, which pretty much need to be open. Victors restaurant in the Campus Inn always has several vegetarian options on the dinner menu. Looks like a nice place and several online reviews are very favorable. Never been there myself, though.

I was also going to suggest Victor’s. I ate there once long ago, and it is nice.

LOVE [BD’s Mongolian Grill](http://www.gomongo.com/locations/locationDetails.php?loc=1)! Email and see if they are open on Thanksgiving.

I have heard that the Gandy Dancer is open on Thanksgiving - don’t know if they have much to offer vegetarians (they’re known for fish) and they can be a little pricey, but the restaurant itself is beautiful, very atmospheric.
