Anna Nicole Smith dead

CNN is completely out of control.

I thought the test was supposed to take place on the 24th. Now I think that it should be moved up. I thought it should have been done long ago. It is way overdue.

I am very sorry for her baby, and I was sorry for Anna Nichole when her S so tragically died. However, this is not worth a CNN news bulletin nor constant airing on Fox (which I normally don’t watch, but that’s what was on the TV at the gym when I was working out).

I wish that the news media would stop focusing on the foilbles of so-called celebrities and instead would focus on the major issues that affect our lives: global warming, the war, etc.

^^ I agree - but sadly we are going to be seeing this ALL over the place - constantly - for the next few days - uugghhh

According to the last hearing in Jan - it was put off - but the hearing yesterday supposedly ended up with - the test must be done by 2/21.

And I agree - this does remind me also of Marily Monroe - could never get life quite right - sad.

NSM, We all know that people are only going to listen to those topics for so long. There always has to be a new soap opera story to hold viewer interest. Now this competes with the astronaut in diaper story.

Oh, the paternity test was ordered for the 21st of this month.

She was such a sad (as in pathetic) character. The previews of tonight’s Entertainment Tonight showed some middle aged guys (bodyguards? police officers?? not sure) claiming that they bought the house for her in the Bahamas and were about to evict her, and that one of them had had a “personal” relationship with her and she asked him to put his name on Dannylynne’s birth certificate. I wonder if they’ll still show that segment tonight or not. This is all sooo weird…

** edit** at least this will get the news media to stop talking about the astronut (pun intended)

I am not sure what money you guys are talking about. As far as I know she had no money.

NEM - no - to be done BY the 21st - wonder what will happen to this poor babe now.

SWEET she eventurally won her case against her dead husbands son - last summer or fall I believe. That doesn’t mean she had actually received any of it yet tho - her life is a mystery in many ways.

Yes but that ruling was overturned and he was said to be the sole heir of his fathers estate. Then he died and I think she was in middle of an appeal or something but still. Any money from trimspa is probably tied up in the current lawsuit against her and the company. Also the house she lived in wasn’t hers…

I already saw that on some show, but I don’t recall which one it was on. It aired some time ago.

Her whole recent life…the rapid wieght loss, son’s death, custody case, etc…seems straight out of a soap opera/dramatic novel. seriously…I feel like I’m living through a soap opera.
And if they find out something like suicide/murder…seriously they could make a movie out of this.

sweetny007…what about all the $$$ I’m assuming she got for her TrimSpa contract. Those types of contracts are worth a LOT.

I’m betting on some combination of the weight loss pills, sedatives, antidepressants and alcohol. Sorta like Elvis Presley…

Like I said, the money from trimspa (whatever was left after her drug addiction) is probably tied up in the new lawsuit against her and the company. I am not sure how that works though since she is now deceased. Can they still come after the money? The fact that she couldn’t even make payments to keep the house she was living in is a pretty good indication that she had no money though.

Deb Opri, Birkhead’s attorney is moving forward to get an emergency paternity test, which is what I think should be done. She just called into Fox.

Good, they need to figure out who that baby’s father really is.

It is strange how she has “celebrity” status, but I really don’t get (understand) most of the celebrity buzz anyway. I did feel a lot of sympathy for her after her son died.

I think the police will be very interested in Stern and other staff–present during both ‘accidental’ overdoses. What are the chances of two people in one family dying within a year of one another?

The child clearly belongs to Birkhead and will go to him. I wonder if he will want it now that it doesn’t come with a cash bonus.

A tragic pursuit of fame on all sides.

Dying within one year of each other?? It was more like 2 -3 months of each other. It is possible that they each had some congenital/genetic cardiac vulnerability to the medication cocktails they were each on. No doubt Stern will be under significant scrutiny, but I doubt their deaths were purposeful. The rich and famous often believe they are invincible. Sadly, and obviously, they are not.

The $$$ is the lawsuit that was ongoing with her late billionaire husband’s family. He was like 86.

Tragic life. and death. One can only hope that the paternity of the baby is established quickly and she can be raised privately.
