<p>ON January 2008 this grammar question was section 10 level 3.</p>

(b) since a person feels a need to reconnect with and recover the past,
(C) since a person needs to feel a reconnection with and recovery of the past, therefore
(D) a need to reconnect with and recover the past is a feeling for many people, and therefore,
(E) many people feel a need to reconnect with and recover the past; therefore, </p>

<p>I thought b is the answer. Seems like E is the answer. What am i missing. This isn’t even a level 4 question</p>

<p>b uses singular while the rest of the sentence is plural (they vs a person)</p>

<p>E is plural, which matches the pronoun they.</p>
