DS filled out and mailed in Part I. He received Part II in the mail. Now he would like to fill out Part II electronically. However, after registering online, he discovers that he must fill out Part I again electronically before filling out Part II. Will this confuse people? Anyone have any thoughts? Thanks!

Lukester-
I’d probably call the admissions office and get their recommendation on this one. the good news is, the school is small enough that you won’t get lost in the shuffle this way.Tthey’ll tell you what to do, and you can request that they note your s’s file of the cross-reference/duplicate, if that is what they advise. For some reason, I am thinking there is a way around the duplication, but I can’t recall off-hand.

My son did the same thing last year. He had mailed in the Part I over the summer and then had to resubmit it in the fall electronically to then complete part II on line. As I recall it didn’t take much time to fill it out and he was then able to complete part II electronically which he was more comfortable doing with all his apps. It did not confuse things but I do remember him e-mailing someone in admissions just to clarify (I think it was the woman he had interviewed with over the summer).

I did call admissions. They said it was no problem to fill out Part I electronically even if it is a second time.
