Interested in applying to top liberal arts colleges (Williams, Pomona, Swat, Amherst)
Any other school recs?

From the south
Asian female
Low income

Your GPA is great and your ACT is in the range for all of these schools. Your EC’s seem good enough. You’re a very qualified applicant, but these are some of the hardest schools in the country to get into. Normally, I would suggest applying Early Decision (binding), but since you’re low income this would be extremely risky. Interest is very important to small LAC’s. Be sure to show a lot of interest and work very hard on your essays, these are very important. Consider adding Lafayette College, Vassar College, Franklin & Marshall College, and Union College. I could see these being good fits for you.

I would try to raise your ACT score to 34 or take the SATs. Admission for unhooked candidates with stats in the 50% range is very difficult - aim for 75% or higher.

You are a competitive applicant. Your stats and ECs are pretty good. Write great essays and you could get accepted to any of these schools
