Hey all, thanks for reading. If you reply, I’ll try my best to do the same.

-In state
-Transfer student from Lansing Community College.
-Graduated high school in 2008.
-Currently sophomore/junior status.
-Trying to get into LSA for major in chemistry (NOT ENGINEERING).

High School:
-Average high school (Holt)
-Very math/science oriented, with language being the chemistry recommended german.
-Honors classes: algebra I, algebra II, trig/precalc, chemistry, english 10, english 11, all “senior level” classes for junior year.
-~3.7 unweighted GPA (if I remember correctly).
-Extracurriculars: Science Olympiad (big ups to anyone who was with me), capital area math competition 3 years, GSA.
-Awards: 3.75 GPA awards, regional and individual science olympiad awards, probably a few other things.

College:
-Started in junior year of high school (Jan. 2007).
-Took all chemistry classes and labs except for gen chem 2 (michigan doesn’t take it).
-Took all math classes up to, and including, calc 2.
-Taken a mixed bag of social science courses (world literature, mythology, poli sci, etc), according to the transfer guide.
-Taken a few non-transferable courses for fun, although they go with my intended major too (intro to nanotechnology, etc).
-71 credits (lolololol)
-3.79 GPA.
Extracurriculars: GSA, started HSDCI student club, president of club, featured in Michigan Educational Association Magazine (for HSDCI).

A big side-note about my education was that when I was in my junior year, I dropped out of high school, and went to a program called the High School Diploma Completion Initiative (HSDCI) at LCC. Since it works with area high schools, I still graduated, walked, and so on, but it also presents a nice bunch of challenges.
-Holt and the HSDCI couldn’t agree on how or if I was to take the ACT, due to my sort- of “limbo” student status.
-My transcripts are all weird, with a note having been required to be attached to my high school one ot explain it all.
-Most of my credits probably won’t transfer, not like I care.

I explained this all in my application, as best I could, and wrote one of my essays on my experiences.

Thanks in advance.
