Guys, it’s a joke. Just relax. schoolsearcher is just mocking all the chances threads because they’re ridiculous. Just having some fun, don’t overreact.

you guys… you’re so ridiculous. i knew it was a joke as soon as i read “starRing QB”

and eell - plenty of under-10’s surf. stop freaking out.

You guys really believed this? It’s a joke. Chill.

I knew it was a joke when he/she had a 6.0.

Lol, it’s an excellent profile. But you run the risk of coming off too concieted when explaining the status of your school etc.

… thought we all needed a laugh with the big tense deadline looming, so there’s my April Fool’s joke … one month early. I thought about adding that I had secretly been given early admission to Exeter, but figured that would be too much for all the Exonian-wannabes to bear.

I did find it amusing how some of you tried to analytically break down my typos, spelling errors, and scientifically impossible scenarios …
and no matter how absurd I tried to make it sound … some of you found it to be plausible for this board. Speaks to the level of talent hanging out here.

Good luck to all this coming week. There may be some dissapointments, but for the most part … it should be an exciting time and lots of decisions to make. Enjoy it! I have enjoyed reading all of your posts this past year and look forward to hearing wonderful things on March 10.

I feel like an idiot. I didn’t read through everything I admit. Just skimmed through. It looked good, and I didn’t even read this page of posts
My stupidity!

actually i think a 6.0 GPA IS possible. it all depends on the school you go to. there is no NATIONAL law that states that GPA’s have to be on a 4.0 scale. and if the schools weight honors and APs then the grade goes up. in my school a 4.33 is an A+ in a Regent class(lowest level), 4.66 honors, and 4.76 for AP. At exeter they do GPA out of an 11 point scale.

and thats also why colleges ask for the students rank b/c the students GPA is different for every school and may not be reliable.

yeah but schoolsearcher said it was out of a 4.0 scale. So the highest you can possibly get is a 5.33 or something similiar to that. A 6.0 is like a 2 letter grade difference.

schoolsearcher said it was on a 4.0 scale, like msu said.

my friend in city attenda a school in which a Honors class goes up by 1 and an AP by 2. as i said it all depends on the school you go to

that was funny. sabregie and kristina – I can’t believe you believed that. it’s hilarious how gullible you were. a ten-year old working on a cure for cancer??
