Indians are really over-represented at Northwestern so it may be harder for you to get in.

i guarantee indians are overrepresented at every elite university.

Moreso at Northwestern.

How likely do you think it is for me to get in?

What about other types of Asians? Like Korean/Chinese/Japanese?

Last time i saw the stats, i think northwestern has a 16% asian population. im not sure if that’s all asians or if that’s just east asians.

I think that’s usually all Asians, including Pacific Islanders and Indians.
What is considered over-representation of East Asians then? It’s probably like 10% East Asian at Northwestern, since Indians comprise such a large percentage of the 16%.

bump (10 char)

reach…

how is northwestern a reach for this applicant, token? Especially, ED?

Yeah, I don’t think it’s a REACH… I have no idea how race plays into this though. Is that why you indicated NU as a REACH, token?
