<p>I posed this question in sran’s thread “supplemental materials” but I don’t think you saw it. anyways,if my response to the second essay question quite exceeds the word limit,is it better for me to leave it or take the extra content out and put it in a supplemental essay?if my supplemental essay is 2 pages long would that be too much?it’s not particularly interesting but it does provide essential information about me that otherwise there is nowhere to put it,would that justify a two-page supplemental essay?</p>
<p>Yes, if the information is essential, you should submit it – even if it takes long to say. I would first try to insert it in Essay 2 – hopefully it should go through. And if for technical/whatever reasons, it doesn’t fit in Essay 2 on the online application, then just submit it by mail or as a supplemental essay.</p>
