Puff pastry appetizer ideas.
I have a holiday party this weekend. I need to bring something. I was planning on bringing a apple tart made with the puff pastry from the newest Barefoot Contessa book. My D would prefer I bring an appetizer. She wants to make it. I suggested a baked brie. Any good baked brie recipes out there?

I sent you a PM

This was on the allrecipes site today - I was thinking of trying it with dried cranberries instead

I recently had brie topped with green Tabasco Sauce, wrapped in puff pastry and baked. It was fabulous.

Brie topped with whatever and wrapped in puff pastry is a winner!

Brie topped with boursin cheese. Wrap in two pieces of puff pastry, one for top, one for bottom. Seal with beaten eggs. You can make pretty designs with the extra puff pastry. I use a full wheel (from Trader Joe’s) so you need two sheets made a bit thinner with a rolling pin. Bake at 350 until golden brown, and then let cool about two hours so the cheese is room temperature and doesn’t run. Really good. (Not my recipe so I tout it as wonderful.)
