Wow! That is a good deal!
I LOVE how helpful you all are! The EB one above (and the Marmot one) are still “thicker” than what she wants - mine is super thin but relatively warm - not for zero degree days but she has a long North Face parka for those days.
We don’t have Ross - I will check out a few more listed here and am also going to attempt to look at Rack and another TJ/Marshalls when I make an out of town trip this Friday. Then I’ll have to make a decision or forego it!
The thinner style is often referred to as a “sweater” than a jacket.
@abasket The LLBean one is the correct thickness. We have two and DS3 wears his just about every day. I, myself, have fierce brand loyalty to LLBean but not sure if it meets your daughter’s coolness requirement. 25% off everything today at LLBean. FYI
^That might be an exclusive sale code. PM me if you want it.
Thanks @gearmom - I have been an LLBean shopper for years and in fact have their credit card. I might even have a few LL Bean bucks in my account. I’m tempted to order one and then return it if I find something else. The lightness factor is important to her - that’s what she loves about mine. It’s SUPER thin but effective! I am not 100% sure how she would feel about it’s “coolness” factor…but I may have to take a chance!
I’m feeling bad…does anyone have suggestions on the game table for the OP???
@abasket, if she’s brand sensitive, how about this REI Co-op jacket - I have it and bought it for my D last year. We both love how light and warm it is.

@runnersmom is it very puffy - slight puffy ok, regular puffy, not ok. I wonder if they have these in REI stores - I’ll be near one Friday…
I bought mine in the REI store and I would classify it as barely puffy. In the world of puffy coats, this is more like the ones they refer to as a sweater…
The NF Thermoball at Costco is a good deal.
If anyone is looking for nanopuff men’s hooded jackets, there is one at Costco online! About $70 cheaper than retail, I believe.
@abasket no worries in the table. I emailed a friend of my H who owns one. His is no longer available but I got the dimensions and ordered a similar one from amazon.
My H has the men’s version of that Rei jacket. It’s auowr thin and can go fold into the pocket. I have a similar jacket by Marmot. They are both black and we can only tell whose is whose by the name stitched on the jacket.
I think another thing that factors into the trendiness/puffiness of the jackets is how the body is sewed. Those with
“channels” look puffier and what my daughter calls “momish” to me than the ones with small sections, more “quilted” for lack of better descriptive words.
Well, you all were so helpful with my lightweight coat search (the REI one is perfect - I just have to order online because they didn’t have size in store - thank you!) that I’ll put in another request.
16 year old nephew would like (according to his mom) “an inexpensive drawing tablet - it hooks up to the computer” - she says decent ones for his use can be had for $30-50 at Amazon, etc.
I have NO idea about this product and what to look for - didn’t even know they existed! Not sure how he’ll be using it - casually or with his music (he is a composer). But I know she wouldn’t suggest it if she wasn’t certain that this would be out of range.
Any suggestions??
Wacom is the brand that makes the tablets we have bought in the past for D. The prices were higher but that was some years ago and haven’t kept track since. We bought them at Office Depot.
Here’s a link I found at Amazon

@abasket -I think Wacom is the brand I bought my S. I’m not sure he ever used it.
Nowadays, many folks are using iPads, Microsoft Surface and other devices instead of having the Wacom tablets because it is one less device.
Any suggestions for men’s flannel PJ set with drawstring and fly, size small? Thanks—either now of in after-holiday sale. H would love a nice 100% cotton set. Lots of companies don’t seem to stock size small any more or just have the pj bottoms. H likes the matching set with the bottom down flannel top.
Thanks for any suggestions. Hard to know quality by just looking online or via catalog. Some flannel is very thin these days and not very soft or warm.
Thanks - I did hear back that Wacom was one of the recommended. I know my nephew has access to iPads and very complex composing software so whatever he wants this device for he must have a reason!
I can’t see anything in the price range you’re searching for. Good luck!
@HImom Check out Land’s End to see if their offerings meet your needs. They currently have a 50% off sale going on.They sell both flannel tops and bottoms, but separately not as a set.
