Meh. Just another one of several yesterday.
Just imagine if we gave even a tiny fraction of the attention to gun violence that we give to Islamic terrorism, which generally kills fewer Americans every year than die a day to guns.
Hell, I’d even settle for just giving a tiny fraction of that attention to non-Islamic terrorism.
@romanigypsyeyes agreed. I think about the unrelenting hurricane coverage. What if we gave gun violence, education, rural issues etc as much coverage ??
School shooting today in Spokane. One dead.
The only reason I even know is because a friend who lives there messaged me. I don’t think I’ve seen it as a headline anywhere and it certainly hasn’t been at all discussed on the evening news.
It was all over CNN today.

A guy on my team in Seattle got paged during a meeting today by the Spokane school district. His kid goes to HS there and he is set up to get alerts. Kid is okay, but it was a bad few minutes until he knew. I hate guns.
