<p>Nothing too major. I’m doing constrained optimization: Lagrange Multipliers and I’m lost about the following:</p>
<p>So I know if f(a,b)>f(-a,-b), then (a,b) is the maximum point and vice versa. But what about when f(a,b)=f(-a,-b)? Are the points (a,b) and (-a,-b) both maximum?</p>
